AAICU Student Ambassador Program

We know that legislators think education is important, and once reminded, are willing to act in support of sustaining the Alabama Student Grant and supporting independent colleges as a vital part of the education landscape in Alabama. After all, we produce 14% of the states baccalaureate degrees and 24% of the state’s professional degrees. This legislative session, our goal is to fend off cuts and increase student aid by educating the public and lawmakers about the value of the Alabama Student Grant Program and debunking myths about independent colleges.
